Weightlifting and building strength has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. I found my love for the sport of Strongman after I completed my college football career. I am beyond ecstatic and grateful to have the opportunity to open Hometown Gym, as this has been a lifelong goal of mine. I have played sports and been into fitness my whole life. But, it wasn't until I met my husband, Tim, that I embarked on the journey of weightlifting. I have found joy and confidence in growing my strength and comfortability in weight training, and I am passionate about helping other women gain the same! I am a social worker and people lover by nature and my goal is to create a gym community that serves all as a second family. I have always had a strong interest in health and fitness. Growing up, I was actively involved in sports. Following high school, I served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Sports and Health Science and I am a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition Coach. I am experienced working with youth as well as adults as a coach, mentor and trainer. I am presently involved in coaching and personal training for weight loss, sports strength and performance and competing in Strongman. |

I am so happy to be here! I became a trainer 2 years ago after dropping out of dental school…best choice I’ve ever made! I love to help clients accomplish things they never imagined possible. My husband is a Marine and we have a lifetime goal to open a gym when he retires. My fitness goal is to compete in a bodybuilding show within the next couple years and start coaching competitive clients. My training style is a mixture of strength and conditioning, and I accept clients at all fitness levels. I have experience in group coaching as well as 1 on 1 and semi-private training.
